I once saw some photos of trees that look very much like the Japanese Sakura cherry blossom trees and which I was told were taken in northern Thailand. I was told they might have been taken in an area where the trees are growing either in Doi Mae Salong or in Mae Malie, both of which are located in Chiang Rai. I also saw a snippet about it on a web site here, but it does not give much information. Has anyone seen these trees?
